Ok so when Chris and I see a movie preview on tv we usually rate it. The rating system is as such:
Theatre - which is a big thing for us seeing as it takes us a 2 hour drive to get to a good theatre
Buy It - This is usually followed by a Theatre viewing
Rent it - This is usually for the movies that look good but can wait or do not need to be watched on the oh so good big screen with the oh so wonderful big sound
Wait til it is on TV - this is the "Ya I'll watch it if it is free and I have nothing else to do"
So here is the raitings for the coming out movies:
Harry Potter 4 - Theatre - This one is going to be a Theatre one cause I love the book, like the previous movies and I just like to see this kinda flick at the theatre, plus I am going to see it (probably a second time) with my mom @ Christmas. This will also be a buy it.
Two For The Money - Rental - would like to see this one in the Theatre but I think it is going to be a rental.
The Weather Man - Rental - Nothing blowing up
Corpse Bride - Rental - Not by any means is this to demean this movie, we just never got to the theatre when it was there. Plus Chris knows a guy that worked on it.
ELIZABETHTOWN - Rental - on a day when Chris is not home, I have been told.
FLIGHTPLAN, SAW II , THE FOG - Not my style at all
PRIME - Rental - On the same day as Elizabethtown
NORTH COUNTRY - Wait for TV - Sounds like a good story, but not one I would spend money on
WALLACE & GROMIT: THE CURSE OF THE WERE-RABBIT - Rental - Looks funny but I can wait
The Legand of Zorro - Theatre - Looks great with lots of action.
Domino - Theatre - Looks great. Again action is the key to the Theatre experiance
Now for the one we just saw:
DOOM - Rental - This was a Theatre one and we saw it there today. It was good and better then we had heard, but it was one of those movies that pans a lot and kinda makes you dizzy. Other then that it was quit good with a not so bad story. |
